In4Matic is seeking a Senior Functional Tester to own QA for business-critical applications in a complex operational environment. This hands-on role combines functional testing, test automation, API validation, Agile collaboration, and quality leadership.

You will define test approaches, translate requirements into test cases, and drive end-to-end testing from planning to release validation. Strong automation, SQL skills, and experience with Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO, Postman/ApiDog are

Qualifications

At least 10 years of overall experience in software QA and/or development.
Strong experience in functional test design, test planning, execution, regression testing, exploratory testing, and release validation.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
Minimum 2 years of experience with API testing using Postman, ApiDog, or comparable tools.
Minimum 3 years of experience working in Agile delivery teams and collaborating closely with Product Owners.
Practical and advanced experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence for test management, reporting, and collaboration.
Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis.
Experience with cross-browser, mobile, accessibility, and integration testing.
Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and experience working with multiple stakeholders in complex environments.
A minimum of 18 months of professional experience in the railway sector.
Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Excellent English skills, clearly demonstrated on your CV.

Responsabilités

Define and implement the overall test approach for applications, taking operational requirements and real-world scenarios into account.
Translate business and technical requirements into clear, comprehensive, and actionable test cases.
Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
Contribute to the refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring requirements are clear and testable.
Take end-to-end ownership of testing activities, from planning and execution through defect resolution and release validation.
Identify risks, gaps in test coverage, and potential quality issues, and recommend pragmatic improvements.
Design and maintain automated tests for front-end applications using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or ApiDog.
Use SQL for data validation and troubleshooting where required.
Manage defects effectively, including prioritization, follow-up, reporting, and collaboration with development teams.
Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and business stakeholders to establish shared quality objectives.
Act as the lead tester within the team, promoting strong testing practices and supporting other testers through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including refinement, planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, collaboration, and overall quality practices.
