Moody’s Investors Service seeks a QA Automation Engineer to design and execute automated testing across web applications and APIs. You will develop reusable test components, integrate with CI/CD, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve release quality.
The ideal candidate has strong Cypress/TypeScript skills, API test experience, and a keen eye for detail. AWS serverless concepts and basic AI awareness are a plus; a proactive approach to quality is essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3+ years in automated testing and QA engineering.
- Proficient with Cypress, TypeScript, Postman, Jest and Jira.
- Experience in API, web UI, and performance testing desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and thorough documentation.
Responsabilités
- Design and execute automated testing strategies for web apps and APIs.
- Develop and maintain test frameworks and reusable components.
- Run end-to-end, API, and performance tests; ensure quality before release.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers and QA to guide testing.
- Analyze results, log defects with steps, and drive resolution.
- Maintain test documentation, data sets, and quality dashboards.
- Contribute to code reviews and ensure testability early in development.
- Operate within CI/CD pipelines and support deployment processes.
