In4Matic is seeking an Automation Test Engineer to join our client’s team and help ensure the quality of digital platforms, APIs and cloud-based applications. You will collaborate with analysts, product owners and developers across the SDLC to ensure new features meet requirements and quality standards.

You will design test scenarios, execute tests (functional, system, regression, integration) and drive automation using Playwright/Selenium, while supporting CI/CD and shift-left testing

• Support CI/CD quality controls and integrate automated testing into development and release processes, with a strong focus on shift-left testing.
• Monitor test progress and results, communicate quality risks and support release and user acceptance processes.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts and product owners while actively contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.

We’re looking for a Automation Test Engineer to join our client’s team and play a key role in ensuring the quality of digital platforms, APIs and cloud-based applications. You’ll collaborate closely with business analysts, product owners, developers and operational stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle, helping ensure that new functionalities meet both functional and non-functional requirements while contributing to the continuous improvement of QA practices.

Role & Responsibilities

• Validate REST API integrations and perform end-to-end testing across multiple applications and platforms.
• Register, track and validate defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain automated test scenarios using tools such as Playwright, Selenium or equivalent technologies.
• Support CI/CD quality controls and integrate automated testing into development and release processes, with a strong focus on shift-left testing.

Technical Profile

The ideal candidate has solid hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Postman, SQL, Git and REST APIs, combined with practical knowledge of test automation and CI/CD pipelines. You have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies and are comfortable working in an Agile development environment. Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is a plus, as is knowledge of performance and security testing. An ISTQB Foundation certification or higher is considered an advantage.
