Astek Belgium is seeking a Senior Full-Stack AI Developer to join an innovative public-sector project. You will blend software engineering with cutting-edge AI, building robust, production-ready applications and multimodal data pipelines with a strong focus on impact.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in AI app development, expertise in React/Node.js, Python, and hands-on experience with LLMs/VLMs. Dutch at C2 level and English are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in AI application development.
• Strong Node.js and React experience.
• At least 1 year Python experience.
• Hands-on with LLMs/VLMs like GPT/Claude/LLaMA.
• Experience API integration for AI models.
• Solid prompt engineering and fine-tuning knowledge.
• Experience with text, image and multimodal data.
• Multimodal AI application development.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain modern Full-Stack apps with React/Node.js.
• Integrate AI/ML models via APIs into apps.
• Build solutions using LLMs and Vision Language Models.
• Engage in prompt engineering and model fine-tuning.
• Develop AI apps combining text, image and video data.
• Design data preprocessing and multimodal pipelines.
• Contribute to architecture, code quality, reliability.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists to productionize solutions.
• Own complex technical challenges and mentor others.
