Astek Belgium is seeking a Data Engineer – AI & LLM to join the Data & AI Community. You will build scalable data platforms and contribute to AI solutions based on LLMs, embeddings, and RAG, ensuring high-quality data for AI-driven projects.

You will collaborate with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and business stakeholders, and advance data processing and cloud-based solutions within an international tech group.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with strong AI/LLM interest.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Cloud environments: Azure, AWS, GCP.
• Experience with Spark, Databricks, Airflow; data warehouses/lakes.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM concepts: embeddings, RAG, vectors.
• Experience in Agile environments; analytical and innovative mindset.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows.
• Prepare, transform, and structure data for AI/ML use cases.
• Work on LLM-based solutions including embeddings and RAG.
• Integrate data from multiple sources; manage data from end to end.
• Develop and optimize data processing using cloud tech.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and stakeholders.
• Ensure data quality, security, and reliability; implement best practices in Data Eng, AI, and MLOps.
