Job summary

EngiFlex BV is seeking a Management Controller / Finance Business Partner to lead budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis within a Belgian SME. You will prepare annual budgets, monitor performance and translate numbers into actionable insights for senior management.

You will collaborate across departments, work with SAP objects, and contribute cost control, reporting and decision support. French or Dutch language fluency is required, with the other language also needed.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in economics, finance or management.
• Senior-level experience as a business controller with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Experience in large organisations and interacting with senior management.
• Solid understanding of analytical objects and cost allocation structures.
• Strong Excel skills including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables; proficient with MS Office.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP; knowledge of S/4 HANA is an asset.
• Knowledge of the Distribution Grid Operator domain is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Fluent in French or Dutch with good command of the other language.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget follow-up for several departments within the finance environment.
• Prepare annual budgets and recurring forecasts, monitor actual performance and analyse variances.
• Review budget assumptions and funding requests; explain results to management.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to gather financial needs and translate figures into insights.
• Work with SAP and analytical objects (cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, WBS) for accurate monitoring.
• Contribute reliable analysis, cost control and financial guidance to steer performance.
• Join the Budget & Tariff Controlling team focusing on budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business support.
