Corilus is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead at the product-suite level, accountable for people, delivery, and technical execution across multiple engineering teams. You will translate company and product strategy into executable plans, ensure high-quality software delivery at scale, and grow leadership across the organization.

You will coach Engineering Managers and Tech Leads, balance short-term delivery with long-term system health, and partner with Product Management and Quality

About The Role

As a Senior Engineering Manager, you operate at product-suite level and are accountable for the people, delivery, and technical execution of multiple engineering teams, including Tech Leads/Staff engineers and/or Engineering Managers. You translate company and product strategy into executable engineering plans, ensure high‑quality and reliable software delivery at scale, and grow strong engineering leadership. Acting as the primary engineering partner to Product Management, Quality, and other senior stakeholders, you balance short‑term delivery needs with long‑term system health and sustainability.

Profile

• Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams through Engineering Managers and/or Tech Leads/Staff engineers


• Strong system‑level and architectural understanding, with the ability to challenge and assess technical decisions


• Solid technical background enabling effective collaboration with senior engineers


• Demonstrated experience in people leadership, coaching, performance management, and talent development


• Strong understanding of agile delivery and execution at multi‑team scale


• Comfortable using metrics to guide delivery, quality, and operational decisions


• Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate business goals and priorities into clear engineering and product needs


• Able to thrive in a changing environment, navigate ambiguity, and adapt as priorities evolve


• Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical and delivery topics into clear business impact


• Fluent in English as the main working language; knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a plus
