Corilus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer Java / Spring Boot in Diegem. You will develop and maintain Java-based microservices, design REST APIs, and contribute to scalable, secure systems used by healthcare professionals.

You will collaborate with product owners and analysts, own your solutions, and help shape the architecture in an Agile environment. The role offers hybrid working and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Solid experience with REST APIs, microservices, Maven multi-module projects, and Apache Kafka.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tooling.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Strong plus: OPA/OPAL, ArgoCD, OAuth2/OIDC, IAM, and multi-tenancy.
• Strong plus: MariaDB, SQL, and Flyway migrations.
• Experience with healthcare integrations, such as eHealth, RIZIV, and HL7/FHIR.
• Ability to translate functional requirements into clear technical solutions.
• Comfortable communicating in English (French is a plus).

Challenge

• Develop and maintain applications and microservices using Java and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Design REST APIs, event-driven services, and scalable microservice architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Work within Maven multi-module projects and contribute to technical design and architecture decisions.
• Build high-quality, maintainable code supported by automated testing, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows using Azure DevOps.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes, with GitOps practices using ArgoCD.
• Contribute to secure authorization and identity solutions using OAuth2/OIDC and, where applicable, OPA/OPAL.
• Collaborate in an Agile/Scrum environment and share knowledge with fellow engineers.

Profile
