Elia Group seeks an Energy Scenario Analyst to develop forward-looking scenarios for Belgium and its regions, coordinating with DSOs, Fluxys and market participants. You will shape assumptions for demand, capacity, flexibility and cross-border exchanges, and defend them to diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in energy scenario development or market analysis
• Master's degree in Economics, Engineering, or related fields
• Fluency in English and one of French/Dutch

Responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term energy scenarios for Belgium and its regions
• Maintain scenarios on electricity demand, generation capacity, storage and cross-border exchanges
• Communicate and defend scenarios to stakeholders with clarity and persuasiveness
• Analyse trends in technology, economy, regulation and society affecting energy系统
• Represent Elia at industry events and collaborate with market stakeholders
