Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking a specialist to maintain and expand our backend and endpoint infrastructure across a vast network of devices. The role focuses on ensuring continuity and efficiency of critical applications used for maintenance and diagnostics across a large scale of endpoints.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of system engineering experience in large endpoint environments (100k+ endpoints).
• Expertise in packaging software (EXE/MSI/MSIX) using InstallShield or WISE.
• Experience with Intune and SCCM deployment and management.
• Strong Active Directory, GPO, LDAP, and domain configuration knowledge.
• In-depth Azure experience, including group management and license assignment.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell and VBScript.
• Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS infrastructure stacks.
• Knowledge of application virtualization (App-V) and Oracle VM VirtualBox.
• Professional certifications (MCSA/MCSE/MCSD).
• Fluency in English, Dutch or French.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate backend and endpoint infrastructure environments to define upgrades and improvements.
• Conduct feasibility studies for hardware and software solutions to meet evolving infrastructure needs.
• Develop technical designs in alignment with architectural requirements and organizational standards.
• Execute software and hardware upgrades to meet user needs and project goals.
• Provide support and maintenance for IT infrastructure following ITIL methodologies.
• Deliver technical advice to stakeholders to ensure correct assessment of possibilities and limitations.
• Participate in on-call rotations to guarantee optimal availability of critical systems.
