Job summary

Pauwels Consulting seeks a Senior Specialist to maintain and expand backend and endpoint infrastructure for maintenance and diagnostics across a massive endpoint fleet. You will assess upgrades, run feasibility studies, design tech solutions, and execute hardware/software updates to support critical operations.

The role requires deep expertise in Windows/macOS/Linux, Intune, SCCM, AD/GPO/LDAP, and scripting (PowerShell/VBScript).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of system engineering experience in large environments.
• Expertise in backend and endpoint infrastructure for maintenance and diagnostics.
• Fluent in English; Dutch or French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate backend and endpoint infrastructure environments to define upgrades, changes, and improvement proposals.
• Conduct feasibility studies for hardware and software solutions to meet evolving infrastructure needs.
• Develop technical designs in alignment with architectural requirements and standards.
• Execute software and hardware upgrades to meet user needs and project goals.
• Provide IT infrastructure support and maintenance following ITIL methodologies.
• Deliver technical advice to stakeholders on possibilities and limitations.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure availability of critical systems.
