Job summary

EY Law Belgium is expanding its Employment Law practice and seeks an ambitious Employment lawyer with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience to join our teams in Diegem (Brussels), Antwerp and Ghent. The role offers exposure to a diverse client base from local SMEs to global corporations and opportunities to work closely with the Head of Employment Law and senior advisors.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from a Belgian university; additional Belgian or foreign law degree is a plus.
• Belgian law qualified lawyer with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in employment and social security law, ideally in an international environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French with excellent English communication skills.
• Team-oriented, dedicated and hands-on with a passion for employment and social security law.
• Able to work autonomously in a proactive international environment.
• Dynamic, client-focused and organized with a drive for quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality services on employment and social security law, including individual and collective labor relations, HR transformations, social audits and litigation.
• Collaborate with Head of Employment Law, Counsels and junior associates.
• Engage with international and national clients on related issues.
• Collaborate with Corporate Law, M&A and tax advisors to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Skills

Fluent in Dutch and/or French

Excellent English communication

Education

Master's Degree in Law

Belgian law degree (plus)
