EY Law Belgium is expanding its Employment Law practice and seeks an ambitious Employment lawyer with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience to join our teams in Diegem (Brussels), Antwerp and Ghent. Qualifikationen

• Master's Degree from a Belgian university; additional Belgian or foreign law degree is a plus.
• Belgian law qualified lawyer with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in employment and social security law, ideally in an international environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French with excellent English communication skills.
• Team-oriented, dedicated and hands-on with a passion for employment and social security law.
• Able to work autonomously in a proactive international environment.
• Dynamic, client-focused and organized with a drive for quality.

• Provide high-quality services on employment and social security law, including individual and collective labor relations, HR transformations, social audits and litigation.
• Collaborate with Head of Employment Law, Counsels and junior associates.
• Engage with international and national clients on related issues.

EY Law is expanding its Employment Law practice in Diegem (Brussels), Antwerp and Ghent. In this context, EY Law is looking for an ambitious and experienced Employment lawyer with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience, to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Head of the Employment Law practice and contribute to our growth while serving a diverse range of clients.

Join EY Law as a senior associate to handle diverse legal cases for clients ranging from local SMEs to global corporations, fostering a varied legal career.

Your responsibilities & activities

• You will be part of the Employment Law team and provide high-quality legal services in relation to all aspects of employment and social security law, including both individual employment law and collective labor relations, HR transformation and restructuring projects, social audits, litigation, wellbeing at work, etc.
• You will work in close collaboration with the Head of the Employment Law practice, the Counsels and junior associates within the team.
• You will engage with international and national clients addressing the employment and social security law issues they are facing.
• Furthermore, you will be working alongside the Corporate Law team, M&A advisors, industry experts (public sector, real estate sector, regulated business etc.) or subject matter experts (tax advisors, etc.) to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Your profile

• You hold a Master's Degree from a Belgian university. An additional Belgian law degree (i.e., a specialization in employment law) or an additional foreign law degree is a plus.
• You are a Belgian law qualified lawyer with 3 to maximum 6 years of relevant experience in employment and social security law, ideally in an international environment.
• You are fluent in Dutch and/or French with excellent (written and oral) communication skills in English.
• You are team-oriented, dedicated and hands-on with a passion for employment and social security law.
• You are eager to work autonomously in a proactive and stimulating international environment.
• You are a dynamic, client-focused and organized lawyer, with a strong drive for quality and the ability to work in a fast-moving and result-oriented environment.
• You are interested in supporting business development activities to further develop the Employment Law practice.
