Melexis in Belgium is seeking a senior embedded software engineer focused on ARM Cortex-M firmware to bridge digital hardware and application software for motor, sensor and lighting control.
You will design startup code, HALs and bootloaders, work with Docker, GitLab CI, and Melexis chips, ensure ISO 26262/ASPICE traceability and collaborate across cross-functional teams in an international high-tech environment.
As a senior embedded software engineer with a focus on ARM Cortex-M firmware you will develop the foundational software that allows a microcontroller to function and be used by our application SW engineers and our customers to drive motors, drive LEDs or read out sensors. You will build the bridge between the digital hardware of the chip and the application code that will run on it. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team driven by curiosity, teamwork and a passion for technology, learning from each other while delivering high-quality solutions for automotive and innovative beyond automotive industries such as robotics and alternative mobility.
