ENGIBEX is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to develop and maintain software for the eDCT product. You will collaborate with System and Application teams to design robust and safe software solutions for automotive environments.

The role requires a degree in CS/EE, more than 5 years in embedded SW, strong knowledge of AUTOSAR, ASPICE, ISO26262 and ISO21434, and excellent communication. English fluency is essential; on-site in Belgium with a dynamic, high-tech setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• >5 years of Embedded SW development experience.
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems.
• Experience with AUTOSAR configuration and automotive standards (ASPICE).
• Knowledge of functional safety (ISO26262) and cybersecurity (ISO21434) is a plus.
• Experience with VECTOR AUTOSAR stack is a plus.
• Expertise in bootloader design and HSM firmware is a plus.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Proficient in static and dynamic code analysis methodologies and tools.
• Experience in agile development environments.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job Description

As part of the Software Integration & Base Software team, you will develop and maintain the software for our eDCT product. You will work closely with our System and Application software teams to design robust, safe, and high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, implement, and document software functionalities
• Work closely with the SW Verification and Validation team to develop test specifications and write test cases
• Develop new software and maintain existing products
• Collaborate with System and Application software teams to solve complex technical challenges
• Assist in diagnosing software-level issues

Profile / Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• >5 years of experience in Embedded SW development
• Strong understanding of embedded hardware/software systems
• Experience in Autosar configuration
• Experienced with automotive software development standards (e.g., ASPICE)
• Good understanding of software architecture principles
• Experience with Vector Tools is a plus
