Verpoucke is seeking an experienced engineer to help bring a new generation of battery sensing ICs to market. You will develop embedded software, drivers and Python-based tools, and build BMS reference platforms to showcase performance.

You will support customers on-site and remotely, troubleshoot hardware and firmware issues, and translate feedback into product requirements with IC design teams. You will also create application notes, reference designs and software documentation as part of a

Help bring a new generation of battery sensing ICs to market by developing reference systems and supporting customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software, drivers and Python-based evaluation tools
• Build Battery Management System (BMS) reference platforms to demonstrate the performance of Melexis battery sensing ICs
• Support Tier 1 and Tier 2 customers, on-site and remotely, in hardware integration, software implementation and technical troubleshooting
• Debug hardware and firmware issues using laboratory equipment and battery emulators
• Translate customer feedback into product requirements together with IC design teams
• Create application notes, reference designs and software documentation
• Collaborate with an international multidisciplinary engineering team
