Labcorp in Belgium is seeking an onsite Senior Prevention Advisor, Biosafety Officer to join our new CMC facility in Mechelen and support existing operations. The role leads EHS governance, biosafety coordination for contained use, and risk management across laboratory and production activities.

The candidate will manage regulatory interactions, training, inspections, and continuous improvement of safety programs, aligning with CLP/REACH and regional frameworks.

Qualifications

• BSc required; science background essential.
• Belgian Level 2 Internal Prevention Advisor qualification required.
• 2+ years in EHS and safety program development.
• 1+ year in chemical risk management.

Responsabilités

• Lead EHS governance & culture across site.
• Coordinate Biosafety activities including risk assessments and containment for BSL 2.
• Oversee GMO and pathogen lifecycle controls and regulator interactions.
• Own industrial hygiene and ergonomics programs; drive risk-based safety actions.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, KPIs and training for EHS and biosafety.
