Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Belgium seeks a Senior Scientist, Data Science to build, test, validate, and refine applied AI/ML models supporting Therapeutics Development & Supply. You will partner with Process Development, CMC, Clinical Supply, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, and Digital/Data Science teams to deliver practical data science solutions.

The ideal candidate brings 1–3 years of applied data science experience, strong Python skills, and a collaborative mindset to drive impactful

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in data-related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in applied data science, machine learning, or statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and common data science libraries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, validate, and iterate AI/ML models for TDS use cases.
• Translate scientific and business questions into tractable modeling problems and select fit-for-purpose methods.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model selection, hyperparameter tuning, and performance evaluation.

Education

Advanced degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related quantitative discipline.
