Job summary

BNP Paribas Fortis seeks an Expert Data Governance Specialist for its Transformation Office. The Data Manager owns data quality, integrity, and protection within an assigned tribe perimeter, covering the full data lifecycle from origination to consumption and regulatory reporting.

The role engages with IT, Legal, Risk, Business and the Data COE to align definitions and solutions, promote a Data-by-Design culture, and support governance in steering committees.

Qualifications

• Data governance frameworks, GDPR/BCBS 239 compliance, and data lineage awareness.
• Risk/Finance reporting processes and cross-functional stakeholder management.
• API governance and data dictionary/workflow coordination with Group standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure end-to-end data quality, integrity and protection within the assigned perimeter, including regulatory reporting.
• Validate regulatory reporting data in line with planning and control deadlines.
• Document data terms, dictionaries and critical reports in Wikidata; maintain data lineage traceability.
