Qover is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own data financial reporting and production pipelines. You will design robust dbt models, optimize BigQuery structures, and ensure data quality and reliability for our embedded insurance platform.

You will lead with a pragmatic mindset, collaborate with the data team, and mentor others while championing best practices, code reviews, and documentation. The role offers hybrid Brussels work, a flexible environment and chances to impact Europe’s insurtech

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL and Data Modeling.
• Proven expertise in dbt and production Python.
• Strong background with cloud platforms and BigQuery.
• Solid engineering practices: Git, Docker, CI/CD, tests.
• Fluent in English.

Responsabilités

• Data Financial Reporting & Pipelines: Build and maintain dbt data pipelines powering embedded insurance programs.
• Data Governance & Quality Assurance: Implement automated quality checks and data lineage controls.
• Technical Leadership & Operations: Collaborate with the data team to advance data warehouse architecture and promote best practices.
