Ventula Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for Brussels on a hybrid schedule (2/3 days on-site) for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on building a scalable data platform, modernising legacy systems, and delivering data products and pipelines with an event-sourcing architecture.

You will collaborate with data engineers, developers and business stakeholders, applying CI/CD, testing and DevOps practices in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Advanced Python & SQL.
• Strong data modelling and data platform knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Data ingestion via APIs, databases or other sources.

Responsabilités

• Build high-quality data products and pipelines.
• Help modernise legacy systems and develop a modern Event Sourcing architecture.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
