Ventula Consulting is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for Brussels on a hybrid schedule (2/3 days on-site) for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on building a scalable data platform, modernising legacy systems, and delivering data products and pipelines with an event-sourcing architecture.

You will collaborate with data engineers, developers and business stakeholders, applying CI/CD, testing and DevOps practices in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
• Advanced Python & SQL.
• Strong data modelling and data platform knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Data ingestion via APIs, databases or other sources.

Responsabilités

We’re working with a globally recognised travel organisation undergoing an exciting data and technology transformation. They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help build and evolve a modern, scalable data platform.

The Role

You’ll work alongside data engineers, developers and business stakeholders to build high-quality data products and pipelines, while helping modernise legacy systems and develop a modern Event Sourcing architecture.

Key Skills

• 5+ years' Data Engineering experience
• Advanced Python & SQL
• Strong data modelling and data platform knowledge
