Cegeka in Belgium is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Data Engineering Lead to shape a modern data ecosystem built on Microsoft Fabric, Azure and advanced analytics platforms. You will design, build and scale data pipelines across the enterprise.

You will mentor teams, establish data standards and drive architecture decisions, partnering with BI, Analytics and Data Science teams to deliver trusted datasets and robust data quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Strong SQL and Python expertise.
• Experience with Spark, Hive or similar Big Data tech.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Data Services and/or AWS.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory or equivalent.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and cloud data architectures.
• Understanding of Data Quality, CI/CD and DevOps for data platforms.

We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Data Engineering Lead to join a strategic data transformation initiative within a leading Belgian organization active in the healthcare sector.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, building and maintaining robust data pipelines and integrations
• Developing scalable Data Lake, Data Warehouse and Data Mart solutions
• Implementing data quality, monitoring and observability practices
• Supporting BI, Analytics and Data Science teams with trusted datasets
• Driving data engineering standards, best practices and architecture decisions
• Coaching and mentoring teams while contributing to the long-term data roadmap

What we're looking for
