Job summary

Neurho Solutions in Belgium is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to expand an analytical data platform built on Microsoft Fabric for infrastructure and property data. You will design and maintain data pipelines, build backend data models, and deliver semantic models to enable reporting and decision making.

The role focuses on creating performant Power BI dashboards, ensuring data reliability, and supporting policy and operational insights.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• At least five years of experience developing and maintaining data pipelines.
• Experience developing data flows and ETL processes in Python, Java or Scala.
• At least five years of experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Dutch at C2 level.
• Basic knowledge of Agile development methods.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or the Azure data stack.
• Experience with Git and version control workflows.

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to expand an analytical data platform built on Microsoft Fabric for infrastructure and property data. This Neurho mission combines backend data engineering, semantic models and Power BI reporting. The aim is to turn data from a large and varied property portfolio into reliable information for policy decisions, operational insight and strategic reporting.

Your role

• Build and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL flows within the Microsoft Fabric environment.


• Develop backend data models and enrich the analytical platform with infrastructure and property data.


• Make data accessible through semantic models that support reporting and analysis.


• Develop performant, user-friendly Power BI reports and dashboards.


• Help keep property data reliable, current and accessible so that it supports efficient processes and informed decisions.

You have

• At least five years of experience as a Data Engineer.


• At least five years of experience developing and maintaining data pipelines.


• Experience developing data flows and ETL processes in a language such as Python, Java or Scala.


• At least five years of experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI.


• Dutch at C2 level.

A plus

• Basic knowledge of Agile development methods.


• Experience designing and implementing ETL processes.


• Experience working with databases.


• Experience with dbt or analytics engineering concepts.


• At least five years of experience with Git.


• At least five years of experience with version control workflows.


• At least five years of experience with Microsoft Fabric or the Azure data stack.


• At least five years of experience with REST APIs.


• Knowledge of data quality principles.

• At least five years of experience with Microsoft Purview or data catalogues.


• At least five years of experience with multi-tenant data platforms or domain-driven data platforms.


• Experience working in the public sector.


• Knowledge of infrastructure data, property data or asset data.


• At least five years of experience and strong knowledge of SQL.


• At least five years of experience in dimensional data warehouse modelling, including designing and using star schemas and dimensions.


• At least five years of experience with data warehouse processes.


• At least five years of experience with data warehouse architectures.
