Job summary

Loyens & Loeff N.V. is seeking a Medior/Senior Associate to join its Corporate/M&A Expertise Group in Belgium. The role focuses on complex corporate transactions, from M&A to private equity and joint ventures, in a dynamic, international environment.

You will work with a team of experienced advisers across the Benelux and Switzerland, delivering practical, high-quality advice to diverse national and international clients.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Belgian law with excellent academic record.
• 4 to 6 years of Corporate and/or M&A experience in a law firm.
• Native Dutch speaker with good understanding of French and strong command of English.
• Genuine interest in transactional work (M&A, private equity, venture capital).
• Proactive and result driven.
• Team player who communicates easily with colleagues and clients.
• Able to perform in-depth and creative analysis to meet client requirements.
• Eager to develop skills in a challenging, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to Corporate/M&A transactions including private equity and takeovers.
• Provide practical, client-focused solutions and advise on corporate matters.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Benelux, Switzerland and international offices.
• Engage in transactional analysis and pragmatic problem solving for clients.
