Job summary

Deloitte Belgium is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead transformation projects for government bodies and public institutions. You will advise on complex challenges, drive improvement initiatives, and help shape public services.

You will leverage data analytics, governance, and internal controls, mentor junior consultants, contribute to the growth of the public sector practice, and participate in international assignments with a flexible, hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in consulting, internal audit, risk management, process improvement, or organizational development.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in stakeholder management.
• Affinity with data, innovation, and digital transformation.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; French is considered an asset.
• Certifications such as CIA, Lean Six Sigma, PRINCE2, or Agile are considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Leading projects for government organizations and public institutions.
• Analyzing and optimizing complex business processes.
• Leading internal audits, maturity assessments, and organizational reviews.
• Identifying risks and inefficiencies and translating them into concrete improvement initiatives.
• Advising management on governance, internal controls, and organizational development.
• Leveraging data analytics and technology to support decision-making.
• Preparing and presenting reports and presentations for management, executives, and other stakeholders.
• Coaching and mentoring junior consultants.
• Contributing to the further development of our public sector practice.
• Supporting proposal development, market initiatives, and knowledge-sharing activities.
