We are currently looking for a Senior Cloud / Data Engineer for a long-term opportunity with one of my clients in the financial sector, based in Brussels. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong hands-on technical expertise with leadership and architectural responsibilities.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading a strategic migration project from on-premise solutions to Databricks
• Acting as the technical lead for data engineering initiatives
• Designing and developing scalable data solutions and architectures
• Mentoring and coaching junior data engineers, helping them grow their technical capabilities
• Challenging and guiding platform-related decisions and best practices
• Collaborating with stakeholders across business and technical teams
