Cronos Europa is seeking Senior Cloud Architects to design, review and implement enterprise cloud architectures across complex information systems. You will bridge business stakeholders, project leaders and development teams to deliver scalable, secure, high-performing solutions in a multinational setting.

This ongoing pool role targets senior professionals for upcoming assignments, requiring strong leadership, hands-on cloud experience, and proficiency in Java, microservices, and SOA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Java application design and development.
• Experience with cloud architectures and interoperability technologies.

Responsabilités

• Analyze integration of information systems and model data.
• Coordinate implementation of technical architectures and blueprints.
• Act as interface between project leaders and developers.
• Produce software architecture documentation and technical blueprints.
• Participate in technical groups and meetings with users.
• Assist during testing, deployment, and reporting activities.
• Design and develop architecture components using cloud technologies.
• Review architectures and support cloud migration initiatives.

We are continuously looking for talented Senior Cloud Architects to join our talent pool and support future projects with our clients. This is a generic and ongoing opportunity aimed at identifying experienced professionals for upcoming assignments.

Job description:

As a member of our teams, you will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and implementing enterprise and cloud architectures for complex information systems. You will act as the technical interface between business stakeholders, project leaders, and development teams, ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions in a multicultural environment.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the integration of different information systems.
• Perform data analysis and data modelling activities.
• Coordinate the implementation of technical architectures.
• Act as the technical interface between project leaders and developers.
• Produce software architecture documentation and technical blueprints.
• Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings, and meetings with users.
• Provide assistance during testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting activities.
• Create designs and blueprints for Cloud Architecture solutions.
• Review existing architectures and support cloud migration initiatives.
• Design and develop architecture components and building blocks using cloud technologies.

Technical skills:

• Strong knowledge of architecture best practices and design patterns.
• Proven experience with microservices architecture and cloud-based solutions.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java application design and development (full-stack Java, front-end and back-end).
• Experience with WebLogic Server.
• Good knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with modelling tools.
• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS).
• Experience in business process analysis.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with interoperability technologies:
  • Web Services
  • Message-Oriented Middleware
  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
  • Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)

Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to cope with rapidly evolving technologies and architecture frameworks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good presentation and technical writing skills.
• Ability to apply high-quality standards.
• Comfortable working in international and multicultural environments.
• Fluency in English and French is required.
