Sword Group in Belgium is looking for a candidate with extensive experience in Java/J2EE and proven expertise in information systems integration. You will work on technical architecture and will coordinate multiple projects in a multicultural environment. Ideal candidates will possess skills in JavaScript, front-end frameworks, databases, and cloud services like AWS and Azure. Strong teamwork capabilities and proficiency in English (C1 level) are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with Java/J2EE.
• Proficiency with front-end languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries (Angular, React, Vue).
• Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (MongoDB).
• Experience with Git workflows and understanding of legacy systems using SVN.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and experience with cloud application management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation).
• Experience in designing and securing RESTful APIs.
• Proven experience with KAFKA and Elastic Search.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0).

As an external service provider, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to information systems integration and technical architecture, acting as a technical interface between project leaders and developers and ensuring that the solutions meet all technical and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of the integration of different information systems.
• Data analysis and data modeling.
• Coordination of the implementation of technical architecture.
• Participating in technical working groups, progress meetings, and user meetings.
• Assisting in testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting.
• Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture.
• Designing and developing architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.
• Analysis, design, and implementation of microservices.
• Producing use case models, software architecture documents, design and analysis models, and implementation models.
• Assisting in the deployment of components and configuration management.
• Documenting technical implementations and composites.
• Evaluating and testing technical components delivered by other teams to ensure compliance with requirements and methodology.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with Java/J2EE (minimum competence level 5).
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries (Angular, React, Vue, Bootstrap) and experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite).
• Proficiency in Java/Node/PHP back-end stacks, experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and REST API development.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB), including schema design and query optimization.
• Experience with Git workflows (GitFlow, trunk-based) and understanding of legacy systems using SVN.
• Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and experience with deploying and managing applications in a cloud environment.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Azure Bicep) for consistent environment provisioning.
• Experience designing, building, and securing RESTful APIs and web services, including OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
• Proven experience with KAFKA and Elastic Search.
• Knowledge of CSDR preferred; knowledge of AXON Server/Framework is a plus.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of authentication and authorization protocols and standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT).
