Orange Belgium is seeking a visionary Solution Architect to serve as the technical architecture reference for our transversal domain. You will design frameworks and patterns to boost agility and cost efficiency, and define the transition from our current IT stack to the future vision.

Collaborating with Enterprise Architecture, you will guide cloud solutions as a GCP SME, support squads and developers, and coach E2E designers on data models, TMF, and EDM impacts.

Qualifications

• University degree and at least 8 years in solution architecture and data domain.
• Understand functional and non-functional architecture (TOGAF, TMF, ODA).
• Experience in Cloud technologies and large projects implementations.
• Data Vault modelling knowledge is a plus.
• Able to explain technical matters to varied audiences and maintain helicopter view.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the Domain Architecture reference, defining and enforcing architecture frameworks and patterns and overseeing domain API and data model evolution.
• Define the transition roadmap from current to target architecture; guide cloud solutions as GCP SME; monitor industry trends and propose fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Act as the technical expert for external vendors; oversee product architecture and upgrade roadmaps with Technical Leads.
• Support E2E designers, Solution Analysts, and Technical Leads in defining solutions for complex projects including TMF, capabilities, and EDM impacts.
• Share domain and architecture knowledge within the Architect Community; teach frameworks, patterns, and data models to ensure proper implementation.

Are you a visionary Solution Architect passionate about shaping innovative technical landscapes?

We are looking for someone to serve as the technical architecture reference for our transversal domain. You will design frameworks and patterns that enhance agility and cost efficiency, and define the strategic transition from our current IT stack to the future vision. Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, you will ensure smooth execution of this transformation across projects, playing a vital role in our digital evolution.

Your Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Domain Architecture reference, defining and enforcing architecture frameworks and patterns, overseeing domain API and data model evolution, and acting as design authority with the Design Authority Board.
• Define the transition roadmap from current to target architecture, aligned with Enterprise Architects; serve as GCP SME to guide cloud solutions; drive innovation by monitoring industry trends; recommend fit-for-purpose solutions; support squad leads and developers in understanding and designing data architecture.
• Act as the technical expert for external vendors, overseeing product architecture and capabilities; manage product lifecycle and define upgrade roadmaps with Technical Leads.
• Support E2E designers, Solution Analysts, and Technical Leads in defining solutions for complex projects, including TMF, capabilities, and EDM impacts.
• Share domain and architecture knowledge within the Architect Community; teach frameworks, patterns, and data models to E2E designers and Technical Leads to ensure understanding and proper implementation.

Requirements:

• You have a University Degree with at least 8-year experience in solution architecture and data domain.
• Understand functional and non-functional architecture (TOGAF, TMF, ODA).
• Experience in Cloud technologies and large projects implementations.
• Data Vault modelling knowledge is a plus.
• Can explain technical complex matters to a variety of audiences and ensures meaning is understood.
• Is able to have an helicopter view on the domain architecture and deep dive in specific topics.
• Demonstrate a good level of autonomy in your domain to reach your objectives.
• Very good command of English; knowledge of French and Dutch is also desirable.
