Navigate Brussels is seeking a Lead Advisor to own client relationships and assignments across reporting, advocacy and grants, partnering with colleagues in Brussels and Copenhagen to grow the European defence practice.

You will lead senior client engagements, design strategic advice, and mentor colleagues while delivering high‑quality work in a fast‑paced, continent‑wide environment with occasional travel. Fluency in English and deep policy insight are essential.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of relevant experience with Brussels EU and/or NATO defence environment.
• Strong network across institutions, ministries, and industry.
• Ability to translate complex issues into clear, actionable guidance.

Responsabilités

• Lead client accounts and major workstreams from scoping to delivery and client satisfaction.
• Translate client technologies and priorities into policy, engagement, partnership, and funding strategies.
• Provide political and programme intelligence and clear recommendations for senior decision-makers.
• Design advocacy strategies and facilitate dialogues with EU institutions, NATO, and ministries.
• Guide grant and tender work including consortium formation and proposal quality assurance.
• Develop business opportunities, mentor colleagues, and contribute to pitches and network growth.
