Job summary

Capgemini Belgium seeks an ADAS Project Manager to lead end-to-end readiness and deployment of automated driving programmes in Europe. You will drive cross-functional integration across engineering, operations, privacy, and quality teams to ensure timely delivery.

You will translate EU regulatory requirements (GDPR, EU Data Act, EU AI Act, UN-R171) into coordinated actions, oversee road-test operations, and manage vehicle-data pipelines with privacy-by-design principles.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in programme or project management in automotive/ADAS
• Working knowledge of AD/ADAS systems, safety concepts, validation methodologies
• Experience coordinating EU regulatory compliance (GDPR, Data Act, AI Act, UN-R171) across functions
• Hands-on experience building and managing controlled road-test operations and data pipelines

YOUR ROLE

As an ADAS Project Manager, you will lead end-to-end readiness and operations for automated driving programmes within the automotive sector, translating complex EU market, regulatory, safety, and performance needs into integrated, actionable delivery plans.

In this role you will play a key role in:

• Leading programme integration across engineering, operations, legal, privacy, and quality teams — aligning schedules, dependencies, risks, owners, and key decisions to ensure seamless end-to-end delivery of automated driving deployment across Europe
• Translating EU market and regulatory requirements — including GDPR, EU Data Act, EU AI Act, and UN-R171 — into coordinated compliance actions, working alongside specialist functions to ensure readiness at every stage of the programme
• Designing and overseeing controlled road-test operations, covering permit management, trained driver coordination, fleet health, maintenance, logistics, and both remote and on-site support infrastructure
• Driving data-collection operations as the primary scope of the role, including vehicle-data collection, upload station management, removable-media logistics, cloud environment oversight, access controls, and privacy-by-design implementation
• Communicating clearly and effectively with engineering and management stakeholders through structured technical writing, cross-functional facilitation, and concise escalation reporting to drive issues through validation and into steady-state operation

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who combines strong programme leadership with deep domain knowledge of autonomous driving and data operations.

• You hold a Master's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in programme or project management within the automotive or AD/ADAS sector
• You have working knowledge of AD/ADAS systems, including operational design domains, AD architecture, model training and retraining, safety concepts, validation methodologies, and field issue investigation
• You bring practical experience coordinating EU regulatory compliance across frameworks such as GDPR, EU Data Act, EU AI Act, and UN-R171, and are comfortable working with accountable specialist and legal functions to ensure adherence
• You have hands‑on experience building and managing controlled road-test operations, with a solid understanding of vehicle-data pipelines, cloud environments, and privacy‑by-design principles in a data collection context
• You communicate with clarity and confidence — both in writing and in cross-functional settings — and are equally comfortable presenting structured updates to senior management and facilitating technical working sessions with engineering teams
