Job summary

Pauwels Consulting is seeking an experienced professional to structurally integrate Agentic AI into IT project delivery and governance. You will define operating models, align AI agents with human roles, and ensure end-to-end traceability across the software delivery lifecycle.

The role requires PRINCE2 expertise and strong stakeholder engagement in a hybrid Brussels setting. The position focuses on building governance, controls, and release planning for AI-enabled delivery, with opportunities

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT governance, project delivery, and Agile software delivery.
• Expert knowledge of PRINCE2 and PRINCE2 Agile methodologies.
• Proven expertise in Generative AI, AI agents, and agentic workflows.
• Deep experience designing operating models, governance processes, roles, and controls.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, release management, and DevOps ways of working.
• Practical experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans) and ServiceNow.
• Experience with AI-assisted software engineering, multi-agent orchestration, or LLM governance.
• Skilled in stakeholder management, workshop facilitation, and communication across management and technical teams.
• Fluent in English with professional working proficiency in Dutch or French.

Responsibilities

• Define the target operating model for Agentic AI within IT project and application delivery.
• Identify activities for AI agents versus human responsibilities, including human-in-the-loop controls, auditability, and escalation.
• Integrate the operating model into governance frameworks, roles, and release planning.
• Design a controlled Agentic AI-enabled delivery flow covering architecture, development, security reviews, and testing.
• Translate the target model into requirements for the existing toolchain to ensure end-to-end traceability.
• Support pilot use cases and formulate recommendations for further industrialization and scaling.

The project involves defining and validating an Agentic AI-enabled delivery approach that fits existing methodologies and supports the full software delivery lifecycle.
