Cream Consulting is looking to appoint a Director-level role in Belgium to lead a Business Unit within IT, Engineering and related consulting services. You will recruit and coach junior managers, hire consultants, oversee projects and evolution, and monitor P&L to drive growth.

You will actively shape strategy, propose innovative ideas, and grow the business with Belgian and European markets, reporting closely with the founder and executive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Development within IT/engineering consulting.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work in a stimulating environment and meet demanding targets.
• Passionate about technology, business and management.
• Reliable, structured and collaborative.

Responsabilités

• Recruit and coach Junior Business Managers.
• Hire consultants and grow the Business Unit.
• Follow up projects and manage consultants' evolution.
• Monitor P&L and build growth strategy.
• Propose improvements to the business strategy.
• Develop new business opportunities and client relationships.
• Organize relationship management with existing contacts.
• Draw a strategy to leverage market opportunities.
• Screen Belgian and European markets to identify candidates.
• Collaborate with Recruitment to align hiring with Cream's needs.
• Attend training to develop skills and capabilities.

WHAT IS THE JOB ALL ABOUT?

Manage a Business Unit:

• Recruit and coach Junior Business Managers
• Hire your own consultants and grow your Business Unit
• Follow-up your projects and manage consultants' evolution
• Monitor your P&L and build your own growth strategy

Be a participatory player in the business strategy:

• Propose innovative ideas to improve the business strategy
• Being a driving force within the entire business team
• Take part in strategic decisions

Identify and develop new businesses:

• Target business opportunities
• Development of existing customers
• Prospect for new business contacts
• Organize relationship follow-up with existing contacts
• Draw a strategy to leverage the market opportunities

Recruit and select:

• Screen Belgian and European markets to identify interesting candidates aligned with Cream’s business strategy
• Call, meet and evaluate candidates for consultant positions
• Collaborate with the Recruitment department to ensure Cream acts on the recruitment market accurately toward its needs

Strive for excellence:

• Attend business, technical and management training (on-boarding training + continuous training program)

• You have a successful Business Development experience in a Consulting environment (IT, Engineering,...)
• You speak fluently French and English
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to present effectively and creatively
