As a Business Control Manager , you ensure financial steering and operational efficiency across Avertim. You secure contract and PO compliance, monitor budgets, revenue and margins, analyse variances, and guarantee accurate and timely invoicing, reporting, and forecasting.

You coordinate with managers, clients and support functions to align rates, costs, and contractual conditions. Through your analytical approach and process optimisation, you identify risks, improve performance, and support the organisation’s business objectives.

Hi, my name is Mathilde and I joined Avertim through the Leadership Program in 2021.

I started my journey with a first track on a client project, followed by a second track in internal finance. I particularly enjoyed the second track and had the opportunity to stay with the Business Control team, a field I am passionate about. Today, I am responsible for the Energy, Transport, Telecommunications, and Banking Business Units in Belgium, as well as management for Germany.

My role involves diverse tasks such as invoicing, cash management, monitoring large projects, and presenting financial results to the board.

What I appreciate most about my role is the daily interaction with my colleagues and the teamwork, which is fundamental in our department. Avertim also regularly organizes activities to foster cohesion, creating a friendly and almost family-like atmosphere.

Avertim has greatly supported my professional growth, particularly through regular feedback from my manager and training programs that have helped me develop key skills, such as communication and confidence in presenting to top management. The values at Avertim, like respect and trust, are core to our corporate culture and allow me to work in a positive and stimulating environment.
