Bridge351 is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to design solutions, validate requirements, and translate needs into actionable specifications. You will support backlog creation, UAT, and agile ceremonies across Brussels-based initiatives in a hybrid setup.

Collaborating with EC services and stakeholders, you will facilitate workshops, monitor KPIs, and contribute to reporting, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 9+ years of professional experience in business analysis.
• Experience with diagramming, modelling and wireframing tools (Visio, Lucidchart, UML, BPMN, Balsamiq).
• Experience following Agile methodologies.

Context

The project is part of a European Commission service that, in partnership with other Commission services and stakeholders, provides high-quality corporate solutions/information systems for various policy units, as well as for Member States, enabling the successful implementation of the Commission's Digital Transformation and EU policies.

In close collaboration with other Commission services and its customers, the team builds and operates solutions in the following areas:

• Management and implementation of directives and policies
• Support of and interface to enterprises and SMEs
• Financial management, reporting and monitoring of financial transactions
• Contractual management
• Control of business processes and workflows
• Database management
• Document and content management
• Communication
• Human resources
• Interface and data exchange with Commission's applications and Information Systems

Tasks

TASK-01: Design a solution

Design a solution assessing the business context and validating requirements. It includes analysing current and target processes, identifying optimisation opportunities, and translating needs into coherent solution options. It results in clear business, functional and non-functional specifications that support implementation and stakeholder alignment.

Activities:

• Evaluate business context, drivers and expected outcomes
• Elicit, validate and document business requirements
• Analyse and model business processes and workflows
• Identify process inefficiencies and optimisation opportunities
• Produce business and functional specifications

TASK-02: Follow the implementation of a solution

Ensure agreed business requirements are correctly translated into backlog items and remain traceable through delivery. Monitor implementation progress through Agile ceremonies, clarify functional questions with stakeholders and the delivery team, and support alignment on scope and priorities. Coordinate and follow up UAT, record defects and feedback, and verify that the delivered solution meets business needs before acceptance.

• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and coordination activities

TASK-03: Assist the project manager

Support the project manager in all activities related to business analysis.

Activities:

• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Contribute to reporting, KPI monitoring and data analysis activities
• Prepare documentation, meeting minutes and reporting materials

Knowledge And Skills

• Minimum a Bachelor's degree + 9 years of professional experience
• Experience with diagramming, modelling and wireframing tools (e.g. Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, UML, BPMN, Balsamiq)
• Experience following Agile methodologies

At least one of the following certifications:

• Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA)
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA-AAC)
• Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)
• Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
• Certified Business Analysis Thought Leader (CBATL)
• Certified Business Process Professional (CBPP)
