ClearSource is seeking a Freelance Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager in Brussels. The role focuses on AI and intelligent automation, working hybrid for a long-term engagement until end-2027.

The consultant will drive AI adoption, define requirements, and coordinate cross-functional AI initiatives across the business. The ideal candidate has deep experience in AI implementations within large, regulated environments, strong project management credentials, and excellent language skills in

Qualifications

• 14+ years of relevant experience or 14 years in a similar role.
• Initial professional experience implementing AI in a large company, preferably in a regulated environment such as TSOs.
• Fluent Dutch and/or French and excellent English.
• In-depth knowledge of AI and automation types.
• In-depth knowledge of project management.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and be solution-oriented.
• Customer-focused, flexible, critical thinker and a true team player.

The consultant will be responsible for the following:

• Support the business in leveraging new technologies to achieve efficiency and help navigate the complexifying operational reality.


• Define business expectations and link with the implementation teams.


• Be a spokesperson for the use AI and automation within the company.


• Based on business needs, the consultant will analyse and describe the requirements for the solution.


• Use their knowledge on the use of AI to apply this in a TSO setting.


• Asses the value of AI and automation use cases.


• Coordinate the implementation of new technologies from different fields within cross-functional projects.


• Train and help the business to use tools optimally.

Requirements:

• You have at least 14 years of relevant experience, or 14 years of experience in a similar role.


• You have initial professional experience in implementation of AI within a large company, preferably a within a regulated environment such as TSO’s.


• You have an excellent command of Dutch and/or French and a excellent command of English.


• You have a degree in civil engineering or commercial engineering, a master's degree in science or an equivalent degree.


• You have in-depth knowledge of the different types of AI and automation that exist on the market


• You have in-depth knowledge of project management.


• You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills.


• You can work independently and efficiently, you take initiatives, and you work in a solution-oriented manner.


• You are very customer-focused, flexible, and critically minded. You are a true team player.
