Netcompany Belgium seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to join our EU-focused delivery teams. You will gather and document requirements, model business processes and translate needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, working closely with developers, architects, testers, Product Owners and Project Managers across the SDLC.

You'll operate in Agile/Scrum environments, analyse APIs, databases and integrations, and contribute to backlog refinement, UAT and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on software or application development projects.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis and functional documentation.
• Proven experience working closely with developers, architects, testers and other technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog refinement and UAT.
• Functional understanding of APIs, databases and system integrations, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills, with strong English communication abilities.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise or public-sector systems, preferably in procurement, finance, grants or programme management; experience in international/EU organisations or scaled Agile environments (SAFe/LeSS) is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Gather, analyse and document business and user requirements.
• Analyse existing business processes, identify gaps and propose improvements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with developers, architects, testers, Product Owners and Project Managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Document workflows, business rules, functional specifications and system requirements.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Clarify and refine requirements throughout development to ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum delivery within a large enterprise environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes and application functionality.
