Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Senior Ontologist for Biologics Discovery, based in Beerse, BE, or Madrid, Spain. This cross‑functional role owns semantic models connecting antibody and protein engineering data with assays, sequences, and discovery workflows.

You will design, publish, and govern ontology modules, support knowledge graphs, and enable AI‑ready data across the portfolio, collaborating with biology, data science, and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in biomedical informatics, computational biology, bioinformatics, data science or related field.
• 3+ years in ontology engineering, knowledge modeling or knowledge graph development.
• Experience with versioning, validation and release of ontology assets.

Responsabilités

• Design, release and maintain ontology modules, vocabularies and mappings across biologics domains.
• Develop semantic models for knowledge graphs and AI/ML workflows.
• Collaborate with scientists and engineers to translate biology into computable semantics.
• Align semantics with enterprise governance and downstream development partners.
