VF Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair automated warehouse installations in Sint-Niklaas. You will lead technicians on shift, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot PLC-based issues, with a focus on improving processes and operator comfort.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in electromechanics or automation and at least 7 years in an automated maintenance environment, with knowledge of PCS7, S7, and TIA Portal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electromechanics or automation is required.
• At least 7 years in a maintenance department of an automated company.
• Knowledge of electromechanics and frequency controls.
• Fluent in English and good PC skills.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair warehouse installations (Mini load, conveyors, erectors, winding machines, printers, etc.).
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot faults based on diagrams and documents.
• Contribute to installation improvements, focusing on PLC controls for process optimization and operator comfort.
• Lead and coordinate technicians and machine operators on shift to ensure timely completion.
