Vans is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our Sint-Niklaas warehouse. You will oversee maintenance of automated systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electromechanical issues to keep operations running smoothly.

You will lead technicians on your shift, coordinate with supervisors, and implement PLC improvements to enhance process efficiency and operator comfort. Fluency in English and willingness to work shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electromechanics or automation is required.
• Minimum 7 years in a maintenance department of an automated company.
• Knowledge of electromechanics and frequency controls is essential.
• Proficiency with PCS7, Siemens S7 and TIA Portal is required.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; able to work in a team.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include solving electrical & mechanical malfunctions, reporting to the Maintenance Manager, managing technicians & machine operators in your shift, minor adjustments in PLC programs on S7 and promoting safety and environmental awareness.**HOW DO YOU MAKE THE DIFFERENCE?**## What will you do:* You are responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the installations in our warehouse (Mini load, conveyors, erectors, winding machines, inline printers, ...). Both preventive maintenance and fundamental troubleshooting are part of your duties.
