Vans is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our Sint-Niklaas warehouse. You will oversee maintenance of automated systems, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot electromechanical issues to keep operations running smoothly.

You will lead technicians on your shift, coordinate with supervisors, and implement PLC improvements to enhance process efficiency and operator comfort. Fluency in English and willingness to work shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electromechanics or automation is required.
• Minimum 7 years in a maintenance department of an automated company.
• Knowledge of electromechanics and frequency controls is essential.
• Proficiency with PCS7, Siemens S7 and TIA Portal is required.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; able to work in a team.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair installations in the warehouse (conveyors, printers, drives).
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting based on diagrams and manuals.
• Improve PLC controls to optimize processes and operator comfort.
• Coordinate start-up of new installations and guide technicians on shift.
