Jobat in Belgium seeks an electro-mechanic to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults across the machine park. You will secure smooth operation through preventive and corrective maintenance and contribute to production optimization by maintaining automation systems and PLC-controlled equipment.

The role requires PLC programming knowledge, hands-on problem solving, and flexibility in a continuous production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as an electro-mechanic in a production environment.
• Proactive, independent, and able to work in a team.
• Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is a plus.
• Experience or knowledge of PLC programming is required.

Responsabilités

• Find and fix electrical and mechanical faults in the machine park.
• Ensure reliable operation through preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Optimize production processes and perform electrical maintenance of production unit automation.
• Program and set PLC-controlled machines.
• Carry out small maintenance tasks alongside the ongoing schedule.
• Identify root causes of faults and actively seek solutions to prevent recurrence.
