Loop is seeking a DSP/Audio Engineer for their Antwerp Acoustics Lab. You will develop, tune, and validate advanced audio-processing algorithms that maximize Loop hardware performance within real-world constraints.

We expect 8+ years hands-on experience in audio DSP, expertise in ANC and adaptive signal processing, and ability to work across acoustics, electronics, and firmware. On-site collaboration with our Antwerp team will be essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on in audio DSP and development.
• Strong practical understanding of digital filter design, adaptive signal processing, ANC, electroacoustic paths, and acoustic measurement.
• Fluent collaboration with acoustics, firmware, and electronics teams.
• Experience taking algorithms from theory to hardware validated on-device.
• Familiarity with DSP tooling and debugging equipment.

Responsabilités

• Design, prototype, and tune audio-processing algorithms with measurement, simulation, and on-target testing.
• Improve ANC performance, stability, and robustness across hardware variations.
• Optimize algorithms for power, compute, memory, and latency on device.
• Develop and evaluate audio-classification and machine-learning approaches when beneficial.
• Research IP landscape before building to avoid infringing existing work.
• Own algorithm development and validation with project milestones, in collaboration with Firmware.
• Diagnose gaps between simulation, measurement, and embedded behaviour; run controlled experiments.
• Turn learnings into reusable algorithms, tooling, and documentation.
