Jobgether is seeking a Senior Android Developer (Kotlin) to join a fully remote international team in Belgium. You will build native Android apps using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android Views with a strong focus on accessibility and inclusive design.

You will implement TalkBack support, use Android Accessibility APIs, and help ensure WCAG 2.1/2.2 compliance while delivering high-quality, accessible mobile experiences for diverse users.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin, implementing new features and enhancing existing functionality.
• Build and improve application components using Jetpack Compose and/or Android Views.
• Ensure application stability, performance, maintainability, and high code quality.
• Implement and optimise accessibility features for inclusive mobile experiences.
• Ensure compatibility with TalkBack and utilise Android Accessibility APIs and Compose Semantics.
• Configure content descriptions, accessibility roles and states for assistive technologies.
• Manage accessibility focus and navigation for a smooth user experience.
• Support scalable text and accessible font sizes, with appropriate touch targets.
• Conduct accessibility testing, particularly with TalkBack, and resolve issues.
• Validate accessibility implementations against WCAG 2.1/2.2 standards.
