VITO is seeking a Software & AI Solutions Architect to bridge research innovation and operational digital solutions. You will lead architecture across software, AI, and data landscapes, driving scalable, secure, and maintainable platforms.

The role emphasizes operationalization, CI/CD excellence, and collaboration with researchers, engineers, and DevOps across multiple domains. You will mentor teams in transitioning prototypes to production, promote best practices, and shape reference

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or equivalent through experience.
• Proven experience in software architecture, solution architecture, or technical leadership roles.

Responsabilités

• Defining architectural principles and engineering standards to evolve research software.
• Taking a cross-organizational view to align, reuse and standardize software portfolios.
• Designing architectures around AI/data science solutions, including orchestration and model integration.
• Advising teams on architecture, maintainability, scalability, and operational readiness.
• Supporting prototyping to TRL maturation for research projects.
• Promoting CI/CD, testing, containerization, observability and secure development.
• Improving software quality, reproducibility and reducing technical debt across projects.
• Contributing to reusable frameworks and reference architectures across domains.
