VITO CRIB in Belgium seeks a Senior Robotics Systems Architect to lead the technical direction of its robotics activities. You will architect robotic platforms, guide software and hardware integration, and mentor a team of engineers across AI, sensing, and automation domains.

You will collaborate with mechatronics, controls and building technology experts to translate research ideas into scalable robotic solutions for industrial construction and renovation, with hybrid work and international

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• At least 8 years in robotics R&D or advanced automation.
• Experience designing and integrating complex robotic systems from concept to prototype.

Responsabilités

• Define system architectures and lead integration of robotic platforms.
• Mentor engineers and establish reusable software/hardware building blocks.
• Collaborate with mechatronics, controls, AI, sensing and building tech experts.
