Job summary

Le Grand & Associates, on behalf of a prestigious client, seeks a Senior Actuary or Actuarial Consultant on a fast-tracked path to Senior to join a dynamic European practice. You will deliver strategic advice and advanced analytical solutions to international Life and Non-Life clients, covering risk modelling, Solvency II assessments, and capital analytics.

Qualifications

3–5 years of actuarial experience in Life and/or Non-Life insurance/consulting.
Master’s degree or PhD in Actuarial Science, Quantitative Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics.
Languages: English and French native/fluent; another European language is a plus.
Advanced spreadsheet and quantitative modelling; Solvency II knowledge; strong communication and presentation abilities.

Responsibilities

Quantitative risk modelling: develop models for loss reserving, risk quantification, and risk tolerance.
Regulatory & capital analytics: Solvency II assessments and capital adequacy certifications.
Strategic advisory: translate quantitative data into actionable insights for executive decision-makers under tight deadlines.
