Job summary

EY's Actuarial Team is seeking experienced Actuaries (Senior Consultant or Manager) with life insurance experience to address growing demand. You will design future-proof life insurance products, price strategies, and model life responsibilities in a globally connected team.

This role offers collaboration across international teams, exposure to IFRS17, SCR modelling, and due diligences on life portfolios, with extensive training and access to modern tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in actuarial sciences.
• 6–10 years of experience in life actuarial roles within insurers or consultancies.
• Knowledge in at least two of life product development/pricing, life reserving techniques, risk management, Solvency II or IFRS17.
• Internal model experience is a plus.
• Strong team spirit with autonomy and proactive communication.
• Fluency in Dutch and/or French and proficient business English.

Responsibilities

• Design future-proof life insurance products, including pricing strategies.
• Valuation of life insurance liabilities using actuarial software (e.g., Prophet, Python).
• Assisting insurance companies with IFRS17 processes and reporting for investors and stakeholders.
• Developing and optimising internal models to compute the SCR.
• Providing support to Transactions team on actuarial aspects during due-diligences on life portfolios.
