Job summary

Deloitte Belgium is seeking a senior accounting professional to join our Accounting & Reporting team with offices in Antwerp, Hasselt or Zaventem. You will be a central figure, leading client files and acting as a trusted advisor to SMEs, family businesses and multinationals while supervising a multidisciplinary team of specialists.

You will also help expand the client portfolio in the region, work closely with accountants, lawyers, tax specialists and advisors, and coach your team in advisory

Qualifications

• Master's degree in applied economics or Bachelor's in accountancy and taxation.
• 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an accountancy firm.
• Experience in managing and supervising a team.
• ITAA title or willingness to obtain it in the short term.
• Ability to work independently but also with a team.
• Strong client-facing service and business development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead on client files.
• Act as a professional advisor in a multidisciplinary team serving SMEs, family businesses and multinationals.
• Support expansion of the client portfolio in the region and collaborate with accountants, lawyers, tax specialists and advisors.
• Coach and guide your team in advisory work and development of technical and consulting skills.
• Assist with tax audits.
• Analyze financial analyses and dashboards.
